I write to stay sane basically. It provides a way for me to vent and to process life’s ups and downs. I write about many subjects including food, travel photography, but most often my life in general.
I am almost divorced. I have three great kids and a labradoodle named Jack.
I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy writing it!
Jen, you sound so much like what I went through years ago. Hang in there and I love your writing!!
Took me forever…but thank you. I appreciate your encouraging words. Happy New Year. It is a good year already!

it seems we have more than a few things in common π
I love jennigetsit
Looking forward to seeing you at the nest writers meetup!

Hey there Beth,
So sorry it took me this long to return a response. Thanks for the comment. When i read your blog I was blown away by the commonality in our lives. Odd how life presents people to us, whom we were meant to meet! Glad to have made your aquaintance!
Sadly I was not able to make it to the meetup on Saturday. I have been dealing with my 100 year old house…8 inches of water in the basement to be specific. I will be there for the next one with bells on! There will be a get together afterward, which I am cohosting. Look forward to seeing you there!

100-year-old house with drafty windows π Sounds oddly awesome.
Hey there,
Took awhile, but I am finally repying to your comment. A 100 year old house can be awesome, especially if one has a bottomless pit of cash. It is difficult to keep up with the issues that often arise, much like a boat that is sinking and all you have is a small bait container to bail it out; always an adventure. Thanks for your comment.
